CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Thank you for submitting your abstract for the 8 th WORLD CONGRESS OF PSYCHO-ONCOLOGY. The submission is now closed and the Authors will be notified regarding the acceptance of their presentation (oral/poster) by mid of June.
We are glad to inform you that we have received contributions from several cancer care professionals from 45 countries throughout the world.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Congress special issue of the
Journal of Psycho-Oncology (ISI Science Citation Index Impact Factor 2004: 2.079).
Instructions for poster preparation:
In case your abstract has been accepted as a poster , please note the following information:
- The dimensions of the poster board are 90 cm wide x 120 cm high (view sample below).
- Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.
- The text and illustrations should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters (six feet).
- Tacks and technical equipment will be available for the hanging of posters.
- Please refer to the Congress Final Programme for the poster board number assigned to you, as well as your date of presentation.
- Posters are to be mounted from 07:30 to 08:30 a.m. on your assigned day. Please remove your poster at the conclusion of sessions on your assigned day and no later than 06:30 p.m. The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for posters that are not removed on time.
